Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - Daniel Cudmore (Master Chief) Interview

I had the opportunity to fly to Vancouver, BC and check out the set of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. I was joined by my fellow Halo Waypoint Monitors and community members Nevin Douglas (CruelLEGACEY) and Jeff Easterling (GrimBrotherOne). We hung around the set, met the cast and crew, and filmed some interviews with the talented actors and 343 Industries employees that helped make the series possible.

In this video I interview Daniel Cudmore, the talented actor behind the suit of Master Chief. Cudmore has appeared in films such as X-Men and Twilight.

He has a name

We all heard that Daniel was going to be in 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters' but now we have a name; Manticore.

We took the liberty of googling what a Manticore could be and this is what we have come up with.

What do you think a Manticore is we want to know. Does our image do it justice in your mind?

Twilight Star, Charlie Bewley Takes First Place at the Vancouver Underwear Affair

In just over 37 minutes, Twilight star, Charlie Bewley, crossed the finish line at the annual Vancouver Underwear Affair, as the overall first place finisher of the race to help fight cancers below the belt.

Charlie, who is best known for his role in the popular Twilight movie series, calls Vancouver as his second home. He primarily lives in Los Angeles, where he has just finished filming two new movies already this year.

Bewley ran the annual Underwear Affair in memory or two friends who have recently passed from cancer. He is an avid supporter of the BC Caner Foundation. In 2011, Charlie ran the BMO Vancouver Marathon – running an ultra marathon of a half marathon (21.1km) followed by a consecutive full marathon (42.2km).

Twilight actor participates in Vancouver's Underwear Affair

Twilight star Charlie Bewley put away his fangs and donned a pair of undies to raise awareness for cancer in Vancouver’s seventh annual Underwear Affair Saturday.

And it seems the scanty costume fared well for the actor: He was first to cross the finish line.

Bewley’s involvement in the race was happenstance — he was vacationing in the city when he heard about it.

“I literally turned up about half an hour before the race and asked if I could join,” Bewley told The Province on Sunday.

But it wasn’t his first time getting involved with the B.C. Cancer Foundation — the Twilight actor, who plays Demitri, organized the Run For Your Life campaign last year and raised $20,000 for one of his friends suffering from lung cancer.

She was being treated in B.C. where Bewley would visit her.

“You could just really feel ... her fears and helplessness,” he said. “And at that point I realized I had to try and do something to help her.”

She died a week before the run. Bewley still completed the run and donated the proceeds to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.

“Cancer touches everyone at some time in their life whether it’s them or someone else,” said B.C. Cancer Foundation CEO Doug Nelson. “With Charlie’s star power, of course, it raises awareness both for the cause and the event.”

By running in Saturday’s Underwear Affair, Bewley hoped to continue spreading his Run For Your Life message.

“If everyone started running more often or everyone started running everyday the world would sort of naturally become a better place,” he said. “The benefits of running are limitless.”

“I [hope I] can inspire more people to run and get fit, get in shape and raise money for awareness, like the B.C. Cancer Foundation.”Link

The 2012 Underwear Affair raised $633,000 with 1,035 participants.

Bewley plans to raise money for his donation by selling his winning underwear. He also hopes to organize another Run For Your Life event in Vancouver next year.
